In 2014, as a medical student, Tsengelmaa competed in the National Young Scientists Competition, finishing in the top 15—a turning point that inspired her entrepreneurial journey. In 2018, during her third year of studies, she won first place in the Entrepreneur Competition, earning 10 million MNT, which she used to purchase her first equipment. With the support of her mentors, she conducted extensive research and officially launched GOBI DARA in 2019.

Over the past five years, the brand has grown to establish its own production facility and flagship store, creating innovative products that blend traditional practices with modern technology. Today, GOBI DARA is exploring export opportunities to Europe, further extending Mongolia’s cultural and scientific contributions to the global market.
